OVERVIEW
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) leads Australia’s international engagement, including its response when disasters strike across the region. To support that work, DFAT was launching a platform to help manage disaster relief, bringing critical information together so teams can act quickly and confidently.
Bizkit was brought in through a consulting partner to shape the platform’s user experience. The brief was to make a data-rich, high-stakes tool clear and intuitive, and to see it through to a successful launch.

WHAT WE DID
We brought user experience expertise to a platform where every second counts. Through thoughtful navigation, the platform now guides users clearly through relief information, so the right detail is always within reach.
Our data visualisation work turned dense information into graphs that communicate instantly, giving decision makers a clear picture of relief efforts at a glance.
With a seamless handover to development, we helped bring the platform successfully to life, giving DFAT a clear, dependable tool to support disaster relief across the region.

OUR PROCESS
Navigation design
We designed the platform’s navigation so users can move between relief activities, regions and data with ease, finding what they need in moments.
Data visualisation
We designed graphs and visual reporting that turn complex relief data into clear insights, helping teams spot what matters and make decisions with confidence.
Development handover
We worked closely with the development team through handover, ensuring every design detail translated faithfully into the live platform.
